WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

I'M BACK!!!

Its been a long time since I've written anything which I really miss and can't wait to get back on track. I've missed reading your precious comments in this entire process. First of all, I would like to apologize for going MIA (missing in action) all of a sudden though it felt like the right thing to do at the moment.

Where do I start from? With the entire pandemic going on, and innocent people losing their lives, whether relatives or not, has taken a toll on me mentally more than physically.  I've tried my best to remain optimistic and positive though....

COVID-19

With the pandemic spreading uncontrollably, it is difficult to ignore it but never impossible to be optimistic or positive about the fact that things will be fine soon.

The main reason as to why I have disappeared was to take care of my mental health more than anything else. I have done that by taking up projects like getting involved in cross stitching, diamond painting, researching on recipes and trying them out. Just the fact that I was able to keep myself involved in arts and craft has made a huge difference.

  • Taking up a new hobby:

I have tried to take up new hobbies to keep myself occupied and learn something new in the crafting world during this lockdown.

I first started with cross-stitching, calligraphy and moved my way to diamond painting which i thoroughly enjoyed. I doubt if I'll give it up anytime soon.

  • Research work:

I have lost count of the number of times I have researched on recipes to try. Be it home cooking or baking. I have tried it all. Food was all I could think of while being locked down at home and has become a new found passion for me personally

GRATITUDE

The pandemic has taught the majority of the world's population about the importance of believing in faith, staying devoted to God Almighty, staying in touch with our loved ones and just being thankful of the little memories that we make together.

The pandemic has taught us that no other material object in the world can replace the love of those received from our near and dear ones.

The pandemic has taught us that we worry way too much on petty things rather than just appreciating our small achievements. This is a time for self care and self love. Don't be too hard on yourself. Just understand that no one is greater than the other and we all are in this battle together. We were too busy thinking of what people think of us rather than thinking how we feel about ourself!!!

With people losing their jobs, loved ones and source of income, I would like to take this opportunity for us to unite together and thank the Almighty for providing us strength and blessings each passing day and allowing us to reflect on our lives and helping us become a better version of ourself. Words cannot express how thankful I am for keeping me and my family safe and sound and for watching over us every single day.

With that I would like to say, "Don't be too hard on yourself"
