Travel Right
Travel Right!!!
If you are used to traveling around the world or even domestically, you know for a fact that traveling can be very stressful. As a matter of fact, packing and unpacking it can leave you drained out.
Below are a few pointers to make your traveling experience stress-free and enjoyable.
Pre-plan your activities for the trip:-
Pre-planning your trip can help you keep note of the things you may need to carry along with you. That way you can be more organized during the course of your vacation. When you are more organized, you can enjoy the trip much better and won't miss out any moment. But at the same time, do not overplan the trip.
Packing Tips:-
Many people tend to make the mistake of packing on the day of travel or a night before traveling. What many don't realize that when you are in such a hurry, you tend to forget to carry so many things that you had planned to take during the pre-planning process.
1. Pack the clothes you will need for the trip two days before your travel day. This way you will not end up with any last minute ironing or washing. In a way, this gives you an idea of what clothes you can use for the remaining two days.
2. You can use clear packing cubes to pack your clothes and footwear in to make your baggage look neat and organized. This way you can see what is packed where or you can even roll your clothes per piece to save space. But try to pack light and save space for souvenirs. You can always wear the same T-shirt in a row, unless you have dirtied or sweat in it.
3. A great hack to share is to fold your clothes in sets. This way your time will not be wasted trying to match your outfit during your vacay time.
4. Carry extra socks because you may have chances loosing a pair or two in the laundry.
5. Avoid carrying large soaps and shampoos as it only tends to add weight to your luggage. It would be surprising if the hotel you booked didn't have shampoos and soaps!
6. Carry sanitary pads instead of having to waste time looking for a pharmacy because you wouldn't want an accident to happen while traveling.
Categorize your things and pack them in pouches:
1. Don't carry too much make-up than required unless you are traveling to attend an occasion like a wedding or a party.
2. Carry your swimsuit/undergarments in clear pouches, you don't need to carry too many as you can always wash them when taking a shower if you are too embarrassed to give it to the laundry.
3. Carry a towel if you are uncomfortable using the towel provided by the hotel (which is usually rare).
Essentials:
1. Carry a global charging adapter because many countries have different kinds of ports. Click on the link to check it out.
2. Carry a first-aid kit/ emergency kit consisting of bandaids, pain relieving tablets (for ex. Paracetamol), medication (if on maintenance), mosquito repellent.
