READ THIS BEFORE YOU PANICK!!
Covid-19 has been challenging for all of us mentally. Many want to have a break from wearing masks but we have to understand that masks are our new safety shields. Many countries have a travel ban due to the pandemic because of which they are unable to travel to their hometown. The following troubles can take a toll on the health of many individuals resulting in restlessness and stress.
Here are some suggestions to maintain your mental health and keep yourself sane:
1. Keep Fit:
Regular exercise and staying fit is one way to keep not only your mental health but also your social health in check resulting in decreased depression, stress etc. Staying fit decreases dark circles and saggy skin making you look younger which is the compliment we all want to hear.A fit immune system also reduces our risk in getting affected with the virus bringing us back to why a mask is our safety shield. A person without a mask defines a lot about how much he/she cares for the society.
2. Avoid Junk Food:
3. Carry A Positive Attitude:
4. Spend Time With Those You Enjoy:
Spending your time with those you enjoy keeps you sane especially during a pandemic. Because these are people you love and enjoy, there is no place for frowns and worries. Five years down the line you wouldn't want to look back at this moment wishing you shared more memories together. Also, these are people who you should never feel embarrassed about sharing your feelings with. After all, if you're not going to spend time with them then who else, right?
Like they say, "positive people = positive mind". Refrain from those who are constantly arguing, minding others businesses and just not doing any good for society and also for the mind.
Try to minimize your time spend on news channels. You don't want to make room for any negativity in your life. A minimum of 2 hours should be fine to stay updated on what is going on in the world.
With that said, I would like to conclude by letting you know that you are not alone and we are all in this battle together. I hope you enjoyed this post on mental health and awareness in these tough times.
