These times are difficult for many of us especially when it comes to making a couple of extra revenue while at home during those extra hours.
There are many who even lost their jobs due to the pandemic and will have to start from square one to get back to earning. There are parents out there who need to earn those extra pennies in their piggy banks to save up for their kids schooling and colleges. So what do you think you can do to attract people, to make them want to invest in your side hustle? 


1. Start a YouTube Channel:


Starting a YouTube channel is a good choice if you have a niche setup in mind or if you have a particular skill that can add value to your niche, your video and also your audience. Youtube has a large audience and can help you connect with a large number of people worldwide in a short amount of time. Your niche can range from lifestyle all the way to gaming. 



2. Blogging:

If you are camera shy or a good writer who just want to share what's in your mind, blogging is a good option for you. The blogging world has its own audience. Just like youtube, blogs can also be shared to reach a wider audience. Since everyone are glued to their systems now, anyone reading about your niche will definitely come across your blog. Blogging can also be calming for the blogger as well the reader as it allows the blogger to let out whats in their mind and the reader to sit back and gain  knowledge from the blog.


3. Open an Online Store:


Having a good management skill along with marketing can help you with opening a store online and successfully selling. This can be in the form of direct selling and re-selling. An easy way if you are starting to sell online is to join e-commerce sites and join their online selling programs. Sites like Amazon, Flipkart (if you are in India), Instagram, Facebook marketplace etc. provide these kind of programs. Amazon has an FBA program also known as Fulfilled By Amazon is when you send the product you are selling to Amazon and they keep it in their warehouse instead of you hoarding them in your house. Every oder of yours is handled by Amazon. This allows you to not get burned out especially when you are just starting out but having a good ROI (Return On Interest). The same goes to Flipkart. Instagram and Facebook marketplace allows you as a seller to directly communicate with your clients and clear their doubts about the products you are selling. 4. Online Teaching:


Online teaching is great option for you if travel to a school or institution has been a inconvenient for you. You can teach online for students in your country, Middle East or Asia Pacific. The subjects usually taught online to students abroad are English, Foreign Language, Coding etc. You will be able to find a vacancy for a subject that you specialize in. This process may not be as easy as you think though. There are a couple of requirements. To teach online, you will need your degree as proof that you are educated and have the license to teach the subject required. You will also need a good internet connection and a webcam to teach your pupil. 

5. Photography/Videography:


This job works great if you have the eye of a lens and the talent to edit and position your subject. Photographers and Videographers are in high demand for brides, grooms, expecting parents, corporate services etc. Having the talent to use photoshop and edit pictures or videos is a plus point for you as it gives you a chance to earn more than the base amount. Your creative talent can give you the opportunity to travel and explore different places.   

6. Catering Service:


Do you always get appreciated and praised with your cooking skill? Then you can consider working in the food sector. Be it fast food, restaurant, owning food trucks, cafes, bakeries, patisseries etc. You can fix the prices of the food you sell as per your wish and make a passive income. This way you can stay busy and make use of your day by being in-charge of your schedule and the menu you want provide to your clients.
