KEEP CALM AND SPREAD POSITIVITY

Staying Positive in midst of a Pandemic

I know it sounds ridiculous but staying positive is the only way we can all stay sane during this pandemic. Staying at home can be tiring and can get the best of us but being restless is the last thing we need to deal with right now. After all we have got to maintain our mental health too. The question I get asked frequently is how to even start thinking positively when there is so much going on. How to stay sane during this crisis.
Well there are a few things we can do to make ourselves as well as the people around us feel a little normal while we wait for the new normal. Now here is my little list of things you can do to stay positive:

If you have young children around you then what better than spending time with them. The mind of a little innocent curious kid is very fascinating. The questions that little children ask at times can get annoying but if you think about it, its so amazing that they even figured it out in such a way that you would have never even thought of. No better time than now to get them interested in academics and getting them excited to start school/playschool. This way you can be their first ever teacher (try not to bore them though).

Sometimes we get so caught up with being busy that we forget to check up on our friends and far off relatives. Many have gotten back in contact with their fellow friends. It's funny how it takes a lockdown to make us realize that we haven't spoken to our friends in years.
It's a good way to take you conversation from a 'hi-bye' to an actual proper detailed conversation with your friends reflecting on your 'good old days' to 'future life plans'.
This is also a good opportunity for you to just sit back and have a chill conversation filled with jokes and laughter with your friends.
No better time than now to turn that frown upside down.

Have you ever wanted to learn a particular skill like cooking, photography or stitching but just never had the time for it because you were too busy? Well, this looks like the perfect time for you to invest your attention in getting better at whatever that skill is. You may even consider learning it again from A-Z by taking a course for it. This way you are not only learning but also making your day productive.

There are numerous things you can do during this lockdown period. The key to fighting this pandemic is to stay positive. Stop stressing about what you see on television! Something that I do nowadays to refrain from any kind of panic is to update myself about the pandemic before I sleep and early in the morning. I prefer not to look at the numbers during my day time. I'd rather spend my day being productive positively, be it blogging, workout, cooking or even just surfing YouTube. With that I would like to end this post by reminding you all to calm down, stay home, stay occupied, sanitize and stay safe. We are all in this together!
